2. The Cove at Lake Anna

Vito’s presents a big menu offering both Italian and American food. Indulge in homemade pasta dishes such as rich fettuccine Alfredo or savory lasagna. The pizza is fantastic, and so are the salads.  The sandwiches and paninis are delicious, as well.  On weekends, breakfast is killer!  Outdoor and indoor seating options.  The restaurant’s welcoming atmosphere and hearty portions evoke the essence of a traditional Italian family meal.

  1. The Lake Anna Taphouse

As a haven for beer enthusiasts and live music, The Lake Anna Taphouse’s menu complements its extensive craft beer selection.  For food, delight in tasty but smaller appetizer-size servings, such as sliders, nachos and pretzel bites.  Fantastic warm outdoor ambiance with seating right on the lake. The Lake Anna Taphouse also has a walk-up window where they serve a variety of yummy ice cream treats, desserts, and coffee drinks.  

  1. El Gran Patron Mexican Restaurant

Great outdoor seating on the lake with fantastic Mexican food.  El Gran Patron delivers an authentic Mexican experience with an enticing and massive menu. Savor the aroma of sizzling fajitas, explore the flavors of traditional enchiladas, and revel in the taste of freshly made guacamole.  Huge selection of large margaritas.  The restaurant’s colorful decor and inviting atmosphere transport diners to the heart of Mexico. This restaurant is conveniently located beside Pleasant’s Landing Marina, where you can enjoy a sandy beach or rent a boat for the day (make your reservations early!), and Mid-Atlantic Watersports, where you can purchase boats (new and used), rent boats, and purchase water sports gear, toys, and apparel.

  1. Asian Café

A favorite amongst locals, Asian Café offers truly delicious sushi and seafood with outdoor and indoor seating near the lake.  The hibachi (steak, chicken, seafood or vegetable) is also incredibly delicious.  Large portions, and a fulsome cocktail menu.  Come by boat or car – Asian Café will not disappoint.

7. Chef Lee

Here you’ll find classic and reliably delicious Chinese cuisine, located about 1/2 mile from the lake in the New Bridge (Food Lion) Shopping center.  The sweet-n-sour chicken, beef-with-broccoli, spring rolls, and crab rangoon are some of the favorites. Chef Lee also offers a full service bar inside.  

8. Fast Food

A local landmark, the Elk Creek Country Store cooks to order delicious breakfast and lunch foods, including amazing breakfast sandwiches, subs, burgers, pizza, fried chicken, biscuits, and large potato wedge fries.  Call ahead or order on location.  Dickenson’s store also serves excellent freshmade breakfast and lunch options, made to order.  Not far from the lake, you can also find a Subway and Big Cheese Pizza, located in the New Bridge (Food Lion) Shopping Center.
